Ancient Draconic legend holds that the universe and all who inhabit it were created by a quartet of all-powerful beings.
Greater Gods
The designation of Greater God is applied to a being with no meaningful limit to their magic and the ability to create sentient life. There are three such beings known to exist in Athua:
the Dragon King,
the Clockwork Beast, and
Ificrastos.
Lesser Gods
The Lesser God designation is given to immortal creatures who, while vastly powerful, are limited by their inability to create sentient life. Some Lesser Gods of note include

Tokar, the Baby God of Chaos Magic and

World Gods
World Gods, also sometimes called Land Gods or Walking Gods, are beings with power far exceeding that of mortal magic users (on the wizardian power scale, those in excess of level 20). World Gods are characterized by their presence among mortals, often acting as religious, civic, and military leaders, directly participating in their followers' daily lives. Noted World Gods include
