Fisherman's Beach
This beach is located on the eastern shoreline of the Island of Kunau, an hour east of the village of Stonebrook.
Every morning the fishermen gather here before sunrise to set out on the waves and collect the day's catch. The beach is littered with small boats.
Fire pits and driftwood seating attest to the communal breakfast they share before a day of fishing. In addition to the boats there are a few wooden structures that allow fishmongers to sell today's catch to merchants, travellers and any interested residents of Stonebrook.
While the fishermen are at sea for the day, their families work the fishmonger stands.
Some people say that the fishermen have mermaids helping them drive fish into their nets, however when asked the fishermen deny it outright. Some of the fishermen that can be encountered here are Roy, Stan, Phil and Edgar. This beach is known for being a source of rumours and gossip, a valuable asset for the underworld and authority alike. As a result, it is a kind of unofficial neutral ground for such exchanges. While you may not be able to buy things on the black market at the beach, you can certainly get the name of someone who will sell such things to you.
