Leader of the Clans

Requirements

To become the Leader of the Clans, you must be a descendant of Gwara Highsteel. After that, you are chosen by the High Dwarfs of the different regions that act as counsel for the Leader of the Clans, together with the current Leader of the Clans. Then, when the current holder of the title dies, its successor will take over immediately.

Duties

As the highest authority in Oblon, the Leader of the Clans shoulders the immense responsibility of overseeing the entire country's welfare. This includes not only the physical lands and borders but also the well-being of its people. The Leader must ensure that the country remains safe and secure and that the dwarfs who inhabit it do not engage in any conflicts or wars among themselves. This requires a keen understanding of diplomacy, strategy, and leadership, as well as a deep commitment to the values and traditions of the dwarven people.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

To remove the title of Leader of the Clans in Oblon, the dwarfs must meticulously plan and execute an assassination of their current leader. This is the only way to relinquish the title, as it is a lifelong position that can only be lost through death. The dwarfs must carefully consider every plan detail, from the assassin's selection to the attack's timing and location. Success is not guaranteed, but it is the only hope for the dwarfs to rid themselves of a leader who may no longer be fit to lead. There have been a few attempts in Oblons history where this has happened, but not all were successful.

History

The title of the Leader of the Clans was established after the war with the Long Xae Dynastme when the dwarf clans came together to form a united country known as Oblon. This title aimed to ensure that the country would always be prepared for future attacks. The first person to hold this title was Gwara Highsteel, who was chosen by her people rather than the current holder or the High Dwarf Council.       During her reign, Gwara Highsteel worked tirelessly to rebuild the cities, towns, and villages that had been damaged during the war. She was a visionary leader who understood the importance of infrastructure and worked to ensure that her people had access to the resources they needed to thrive. Under her rule, the country flourished, and the people of Oblon enjoyed peace and prosperity.       Gwara Highsteel's legacy lives on to this day, and the people of Oblon still revere her name. She is remembered as a wise and just leader who put the needs of her people above all else. Her example inspires future generations of leaders who strive to follow in her footsteps and build a better future for their country and their people.

Cultural Significance

The title bestowed upon the dwarfs residing in the majestic Sere Mountain Range profoundly impacted their history and way of life. It granted them a single ruler, effectively unifying them into a nation. This newfound unity allowed them to overcome their differences and work towards a common goal, significantly improving their overall quality of life after the war. The title served as a symbol of their newfound strength and solidarity.

Very cool article I love the early retirement for the one they do not find acceptable as their leader.

Let's have fun creating the impossible, building new worlds, and all types of possibilities. Valcin
