Alcyrne
Overview
Alcyrne is Avalǿn's smallest and second youngest continent. Although it only spans 489 miles, Alcyrne is surprisingly populous, with 5.7 million people to its name. The continent was thought to be the crest of Avalǿn for over 2000 years due to its lush wildlife and golden forests. However since 6500 BXR, many believe the continent has been wrongfully forced into Σu'ryxia's shadow.History
Alcyrne was discovered around 8720 BXR by accident when a fleet of trading vessels headed to Torrenheim were blown off course by a vicious storm. Instead of landing on the promised continent, they ended up in new territory, which they firstly believed to be their homeland of Ɏntefæhrne. However, after exploring further into the landscape, they eventually came to realise that this newfound land was void of all humanoid life. Stranded with broken ships, these castaways tried to send messages to the mainland but found that none reached it. With no other option, they had to hunt for food to survive and build primitive civilisations of their own. After many generations, people were finally able to build boats that could withstand the currents of the Relican Ocean. In 8586 BXR, the first castaways finally reached Ɏntefæhrne and told the continent of their accidental discovery. Immediately, more and more fleets were sent to Alcyrne and over the next few years, it became modernised and full of life. The continent is credited for the creation of the religion Estrialism, which is widely believed in today and the ending of The Wars of Xandria, which happened at Hølga Hill. To this day, the continent is ever expanding its reaches and trying to earn a reputation worthy of Σu'ryxia's.
Government
Instead of being divided up into countries or territories, Alcyrne's laws differ from city to city. The Governor of each major city makes up a continent-wide council that makes decisions for Alcyrne.Maps

Map of Alcyrne
Welcome to Alcyrne, Avalǿn's smallest continent. Despite its small stature, Alcyrne possesses some of the greatest views on Avalǿn - sporting golden hills and endless coasts. The continent shares a border with its younger brother Σu'ryxia through the Badlands, a scorching desert at the centre of the world. Thankfully, civilisations on the continent are usually built the coasts, which means that the picturesque landscape remains pristine.
