People of the Eastern Peninsula

The people who inhabit the Eastern Peninsula. Eastern Peninsulans (or just Peninsulans for short) are nomadic herdsmen with a tribal form of government. Specifically, they are governed by a "great council" whose members are appointed by each tribe. Peninsulans hate outsiders almost as much as they hate each other, so council meetings are usally fruitless unless it comes to dealing with a common enemy. The Peninsulans were once under the rule of the Kingdom of Ba Sing Se, but they are currently rebelling against Ba Sing Se in a conflict known as the Peninsulan War.
