For reasons that were then entirely unknown, the Voyd Enclave loaded up every ship they had under their control, took as much as they could physically hold, and departed into the Alphega Singularity, the massive black hole at the center of the galaxy. They broke off all contact when they did this, giving no word of explanation before they left. This sparked a rush for the now open and abandoned territory left by the Voyds, resulting in the Walren Empire, Saurian Empire, Reorganized Republic of Tortilia, and the Atalanti Republic expanding their boarders.
