No living person has any idea when exactly the Walren Emperor Neo was born, only that is was far before the unification of the Walren race. Some even suggest that he is not Walren at all, but a god, due to his massive size and death defying actions.

Records of the early spacefaring days of the Saurians are so old that the few that remain are barely intelligible. The Saurian Empire has been around back in the Klal’El pocket dimension so long that no one knows for sure when the exact date of its founding is. Many governmental shifts and changes have occurred since those early days of course, the nation changing from republic to monarchy to empire, where it has remained for thousands of years.
Little to nothing is known about the fall of the Jaikhanda Kingdom, what little knowledge there is having been derived from ancient records kept by the Zandari Empire. Even the Zandari did not seem to know when the Jaikhanda Kingdom was formed, only rough estimates of when they fell even being recorded.
The date of the Zandari Empire’s founding has been discovered recorded in certain ruins. From numerous other collections of partially decayed ruins it has been discerned that at one time the empire controlled nearly the entire galaxy, holding almost absolute power.
Kajithry Revolutionary Empire’s exact founding date is unknown, but is speculated by ancient historians to be around this time. They rose up against the Zandari Empire, presumably the first and only time that Zandari rule was fought back against in any substantial way.
Zandari War The ancient war took place many years before the Walren Empire was formed and resulted in the functional extinction of both races involved. Length: 1,850 years Belligerents: Zandari Empire, Kajithry Revolutionary Empire
After untold centuries if not millennia of constant disorganized in-fighting and war against the Kadar, all of the many different Walren factions were either purged or bound together under the new Walren Emperor, who rules on immortally to this day, many rebellions, insurrections, and civil wars later.
Walren-Kadar Wars While the Walren and Kadar had been killing each other long before, the Great Walren Unification has been deemed the official start of the Walren-Kadar Wars as it is the only concrete date pertaining to the two ancient races’ feud. This historic collection of conflicts only ended when the Kadar themselves did. Length: ~103,988 years Belligerents: Walren Empire, Kadar Cabal
Though some Onikron historians dispute the exact date, 30/7/87264 EWR is generally agreed to be the date that the Onikron Empire came into being.
After several wars lasting nearly a thousand years with the Walren Empire following their founding, the Pola Empire eventually became closer and closer allies with them. After a period of civil war that occurred before the Saurian entry into the galaxy (most believe that the more pro-Walren side was secretly heavily backed by the Walren Empire via supplies and training), the Polas are now one of the Walren's largest suppliers of raw materials such as Vantium as well as mass produced civilian and military products. In general, the Polas stay out of the news to their usually docile nature.
Somewhere around this year The Order of the Blade cult emerged in the Saurian pocket dimension, seeping steadily into the deeper cracks of Saurian society. They unfortunately came with the Saurian expedition to Avendora, and have established a presence in this new galaxy as well.
The Falconite Shogunate was founded on this day in the Neldosh Galaxy, as claimed by limited historical records that have released by their government. While the date was released (and that only recently), no circumstances or other details have been made public knowledge, keeping to the Falconites’ strict isolationist policies and jealousy of their information.
Ra’Ghül, the Toxic God was just a normal mortal Ferellian born in 1983 EWR with the ability to channel power from the Void. He and his fellow Ferellian Void Weilders experimented vigorously with their arcane powers, before ones day when they reached to far, entangling their very souls and wrapping them into one being, centered around Ra’Ghül himself. This ended up endowing him with god-like powers, along with substantially alternating his perception of reality. He now leads the Sacred Ferellian Crusade on a quest to spread his toxic Void fumes throughout the galaxy.
On this day Supreme Admiral Vahlda was born. He was hand chosen by the Saurian Emperor to be the personal protector of his son, Crown Prince Aku. They would become lifelong friends and Vahlda never left Aku’s side. Vahlda is now the second highest ranking official.
Crown Prince Aku was born in this day to the Saurian Emperor on High Sauril back in the Sauria pocket dimension of Klal’El. He would one day come to be known as Emperor Aku Va’Kai of the new Saurian Empire, one of the most honored, feared, and respected individuals in the entirety of the galaxy.
The birth of the Kau Empire ushered in a new age of technological advancement in Avendora, the Walren Empire, Kadar Cabal, and others racing to advance their technology to not be obsoleted by Kau innovation.
Supreme General Magnus was born this year and lead a very action filled early life before joining up with the Saurian expeditionary force that left the pocket dimension. He worked his way up the rank before his valiant and jovial nature earned him the rank of Supreme General, the third highest ranking Saurian official.
While various groups of roving Lizard pirate bands had long pillaged the galaxy, in the year 602 a large meeting was held and many different cabals and clans banded into a more unitary alliance to avoid being easily picked off one by one, forming the Lizard Cabals.
Future Walren Supreme Admiral and secret brother to the Walren Emperor, Supreme Admiral Kharn, was born in this year. He would later rise to momentous power and become the Walren Empire’s most prized admiral. Eventually, far in the future, he would tragically be corrupted by mysterious powers and turn on the ones he once considered allies.
Human civilization started not on Sol III as the humans on that planet still evidently believe, but instead in the system surrounding the massive star at the center of the galaxy. After the star began to die and emit massive amounts of special radiation, the panicked humans quickly tried to escape the scouring rays. Most died in various horrible ways, some landing on Sol III while a few stubborn individuals remained in the central system. Most of these died, but some developed a special mutation which allowed them endure the massive ration, creating a new species know as the Voyds. As they began to repopulate they formed a new system of governance based mostly on scavenging other empires’ technology and vessels to use as they own due to their insufficient numbers and resources. This new group called themselves the Voyd Enclave.
Pola Civil War Tensions had been mounting in the Pola Empire, culminating in the first major war in their history. It was Imperialists vs Isolationists, the Imperialists fighting to keep their current form of governance and the Isolationists strongly believing the intervention of the Pola Empire in the affairs of others would eventually lead to their downfall. Length: 19 years Belligerents: Pola Empire, Pola Isolationists
The infamous High Admiral Zarock of the Saurian Void Fleet was born on this day inside the Saurian pocket dimension. Zarock volunteered to join the expeditionary force to leave the galaxy with Aku, and after a long arduous travel up the ranks of the Saurian military, Zarock is now one of if not the most famous Saurian admiral ever.
Stryker was born in this year, eventually shocking the galaxy when the seeming mortal enemy of Zarock married him.
One of the other originally human (though mutations have since rendered them something else entirely while still sharing some common traits) groups that fled survived and took hold on a habitable world besides those that landed on Sol III. Unlike the inhabitants of Sol III, this group did not lose their technology and history, instead eventually building an entirely new empire from the ground up after many years of hardship and loss. This group now call themselves the Vuxati and have formed the Vuxati Commune which endures to this day. Due to their extremely small population at first, the Vuxati have taken thousands of years to really enter the galactic stage in any meaningful way, but enter it they did.
It was at this exact moment in time that the new Saurian Empire discovered and entered the Avendora galaxy (known to humans as the Milky Way) for the first time, forever changing the corse of history and fate throughout the stars.
Born just before the Lizard Extermination Campaign began, before the Saurians possessed any territory outside of The Saurian Mothership, High Technicariat Dikara was born. He was one of the first Saurians to be born in this new galaxy, with an innate sense of curiosity and love of technology since the very moment of his birth. He would eventually go on the found the Techniczar.
Lizard Extermination Campaign When the Saurians entered the galaxy, they encroached upon Lizard territory. The Lizards were a massive pirate conclave that brutally raided and tortured any that entered their territory and often left their own to preform attacks on other nations. This was the first foreign race the Saurian expedition encountered. Upon realizing the scale of their depravity, the New Saurian Emperor elected to exterminate every last one of them. After a few years of slow progress, the Saurians began the learn the Lizard's strategies and quickly overpowered them. Unknown to them, the Walren and Kadar were also attempting to destroy the Lizards on the opposite front, and they were quickly whipped from existence. When the Saurian and Walren forces finally met in the middle a conflict occurred due to a series of misunderstandings. After they were all gone the Saurian Expedition requisitioned the now empty territory for their own and thus became the New Saurian Empire. Length: 89 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Lizard Cabals, Walren Empire, Kadar Cabal
A violent curiosity for this new found galaxy and all its myriad of unexplored secrets of both biology and physics was what spawned the Techniczar. This Saurian Empire subsidiary organization started by High Technicariat Dikara, is devoted to both discovery and creating new technology. They also posses a militant branch that often aids the Empire in battle.
First Saurian-Walren War During the Lizard Extermination Campaign the Saurians made first contact with Walren vessels in the Caldara system. Neither recognized the other's ship designs nor understood their languages, and the Walren being Walren, they attacked the Saurian vessels. The instigated a war of many years before the misunderstanding could finally be worked out and rectified. It took many years for the Saurian to begin to trust the Walren empire. Length: 62 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Walren, Kadar, Onikron Empire, Lizard Remnants
On this day Kazash Redeye first formed the Fatalin Tribes by uniting his tribe with a neighboring tribe. This eventually led to a global war of unification, ending in the uniting of the Fatalin race as well as the death of Kazash himself.
In this year Broken Sword first reared its ugly head in the Saurian empire. The first attack was the bombing of a Saurian Embassy on Fatalis. No motive or reasons were ever presented, and to this day Saurian intelligence still does not know Broken Sword’s motivation for preforming these acts of terror. Luckily they only operate in Saurian territory almost exclusively against the Saurian Government.
Initially formed as a response to the emergence of the Broken Sword terrorist organization, the Saurian Internal Inquiry Organization was given new and additional purpose upon the psychic awakening that happened when the Void was discovered. Due to the initial tendency for newly psychic people to flood themselves with energy from the Void, causing a massively devastating explosion if not worse, finding them before they could became imperative. Emergency power was granted to subvert the usually absolute rites granted to citizens in the hopes of preventing mass loss of life, which worked surprisingly well (at the expensive of many since-covered-up tragedies and incidents of torture and other unspeakable things). After the crisis had mostly passed, however, instead of power being taken back from the organization, the Saurian Freedom Initiative was launched and as part of the bill, even more spending was granted. Some foul play and perhaps even internal corruption is suspected, and politicians are actively working to resolve these issues before things get too out of hand, but other higher priority things continue to occur in this tumultuous galaxy.
Fatalis War Fatalis had been found during the acquisition of Lizard space and deemed dangerous due to the primitive race but extremely habitable. When the true scale of the Walren empire was discovered, the Saurian government was thrown into a frenzy to acquire new territory to even have a chance of comparing to them. Due to this, they initiated an operation to invade and seize Fatalis. This proved difficult nearly the entire surface of the massive planet was populated by the native species, the Fatalins. They were barely past the stone age but they knew their environment well and fought fiercely. eventually the Saurian Empire was victorious and the Fatalins were assimilated into the empire and raised to their technology level. Length: 8 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Fatalin Tribes
After the war with the Fatalins, their planet was annexed by the Saurian Empire. The Saurians allowed them to maintain vassal rights.
The Durge do not communicate with other civilized nations in any meaningful way, and thus no specific details before first contact with them are known. It was on this date that they were first observed and subsequently followed back to their home world, Karobann, from which the pursuing Onikron Empire vessels never returned. Since then, The Durge have reigned in terror across the galaxy, raiding fringe territories and taking slaves wherever they roam.
For years the Kau Empire had mistreated the Minotaur race, leaving them for dead on earth. After the Kadar Cabal relocated them back to the Kau the Minotaurs began to reproduce rapidly, eventually overthrowing the relatively weak military of the Kau, eventually becoming the Minotaur Dictatorship.
The Foxan Court still shrouds their origins in obfuscations to this day. All that is known for sure is that on this day they migrated to Avendora, bringing multiple of their mystical moving planets with them as well as colonizing new ones.
First Minotaur Civil War The barbaric and war-loving tendencies finally came to a boil in the year 326, resulting in a civil war. This actually ended up moderately better as the government changed from essentially a warband to a real dictatorship. Length: 62 years
Near the year 400 the Kadar Cabal began suspicious, amassing fleets along the Walren and Saurian borders. The Walren and Saurians began to prepare for the worst, forming a defensive pact, and eventually the Walren decided to take the imitative and declare a joint war upon the Kadar. The Kadar turned out to be much more dangerous and powerful than previously believed, and even the combined might of the Walren and Saurian empires could not easily crush them. So for 386 years they fought on, all sides weakening greatly. They Walren saw the weakness of their Saurian allies near the end and could not resist betraying and declaring war on them as well. Length: 386 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Walren Empire, Kadar Cabal, Onikron Empire, Minotaur Dictatorship, Pola Empire
The Sibrian Union officially formed on this date after a long war between the 3 Sibrian nations, each on their own planet. The homeworld of the Sibrian race (Sibal) was not the Victor however, as the Nation of Jgenik emerged victorious and united the Sibrians by force and brought Sibal and Mosk to heel.
Second Minotaur Civil War Eventually Minotaur communism reached a peak and the Minotaur people because tired of starving and a second civil war was begun. After a bloody war the communists were victorious in crushing the rebellion. This served to make the Dictatorship even more hostile, frequently invading neighboring empires for resources and food. This worked well for them but their neighbors of course hated this, which the Saurian Empire took note of. Length: 30 years
Shortly after their revolution and total government restructuring, the Reorganized Republic of Tortilia began to spread their borders across the stars, ruling their territory with an iron fist.
The Gorans, an interesting and communal people, consolidated their people’s planets’ many clans into one, officially forming the Goran Clans. While they are not often mentioned in the galactic histories but briefly due to their general tendency to stay out of others’ affairs, they have indeed had a few impacts worth noting.
Saurian scientists, having been studying what they had observed to by readings from another plane of existence for many years, were finally able to access it. This newly discovered plane of existence was dubbed the Void, due to false initial assumptions about the presence (or lack there of) of physical matter there. Eventually it became clear that all living creatures’ life force was reflected in the Void in the form of a sort of ocean of pure “soul” energy known as The Sea of Souls. Many new technological possibilities were opened up with this tremendous discovery, as well as the portals being opened to this newly discovered dimension awakening a latent psychic ability in a select few sentient beings across Avendora.
The Dara People’s Regime began spreading their empire through the stars almost as soon as they achieved space travel, they puritanical and fanatic religious beliefs driving them. As part of the religion they believed that they were the purest race and all other should be subservient to them. In addition, despite their free sounding name, the Dara were exceeding totalitarian and committed many great atrocities. Eventually they built artificial intelligence capable of self sufficient thought and reason, and ironically the AI quickly saw the flaws of the Dara for what they were, rapidly following their programming to get rid of inferior races and turning on the Dara. These AI thought of themselves as their own race, calling themselves the Darfallen. The Dara People’s Union would not survive this dozens of years long war, and while their race was not wiped out as the AI still needed their brains to run their systems, the time of Dara rule anywhere in the galaxy came to and end.
Second Saurian-Walren War During the Joint Kadar War the Walren Empire seized on the weakened state of the Saurian Empire and declared war, turning the two-sided war into the complete disaster zone, usually fought in Kadar territory but often expanding outside its bounds into both Saurian and Walren space. Essentially, the Joint Kadar War transitioned directly into the Second Walren War after the Walren betrayal, demonstrating not for the first or last time just how harsh this new galaxy was. Length: 294 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Walren Empire, Kadar Cabal, Onikron Empire
The extremely isolationist and xenophobic Falconite Shogunate entered Avendora with a myriad of massive fleets (allegedly the entirety of their race) from its least populated side. They originated in the Neldosh Galaxy and began to expand rapidly, other empires fearing war with the newcomers would be inevitable as their borders grew to be larger than even several much older nations, but they stopped dead upon their expanded border contacting other nations to each side (the Dictatorship of Targuard and the Minotaur Dictatorship). After this, they promptly closed their borders and cut off all communication. Only a few hundred years ago did they begin to comuncate with outher countries, telling tales of flight from a “Xanvau Horde” in a nearby galaxy that would have otherwise consumed their entire people. While concerning, these claims were discounted and ultimately disregarded in favor of more pressing matters currently at hand.
The Atalantis had been around for only nearly 150 years before achieving space travel, partially due to help from the Saurian Empire. A century after that, they had established themselves as the Atalanti Republic, a full blown nation and players on the galactic stage.
After many years of experimentation and failed attempts, the Saurian Techniczar was finally able to manufacture servers with receptors and transmitters fully capable of operating between the Void and Avendora. They named this form of what eventually became a new type of internet, The Ether. This revolutionized everything from communication to warfare across the galaxy.
The people of Varn had had enough of the constant warfare taking place on the planet, nuclear strikes and orbital bombardments occurring planet wide on nearly a yearly basis at least. In their eyes, the Saurian Empire did not consider them important enough to lend substantial forces to aid in their protection, and thus the planet succeeded, forming the Free State of Varn.
The Gorn Strait Conflict The Minotaurs had been eyeing Goran territory for quite some time leading up to the initial incident. Even if the Minotaurs had attempted to bargain for more territory or systems, even uncolonized, the Gorans would almost certainly have refused as they are generally exceedingly isolationist. But negotiation has never been, and likely never will be, the Minotaurs' style. Instead, when the Minotaur government heard about a massive Goran yacht, The Garnailia, departing from Gorn to start a record breaking political/pleasure cruise around the entire circumference of Avendora, they sprung into action, sending warships to immediately intercept and capture the vessel filled with vitally important Goran officials and politicians. The cruise was on its way to meet up with its full escort, and foolishly was grossly under protected by only a few cruisers and their escorts, making the Minotaur interception laughably easily and resulting in the destruction of every warship guarding the non-military vessel. A sort of ransom was then issued from the Minotaur government; the ship and its inhabitants returned safely home in exchange for a few hundred border systems, 6 of which were colonized. Goran civilians would be allowed to migrate further into Goran territory of course. Naturally, the Gorans were beyond outraged by this act of open aggression and arguably terrorism. Further complicating matters, several very important Vuxati government officials had been on the ship and were now held captive by the Minotaurs with a ransom contingent upon the cooperation of the Gorans. The Vuxati vigoursly demanded the Gorans submit to the Minotaur demands and hand over their systems, even offering to negotiate descaltion talks as well as attempting to demand their people back from the Minotaurs, requests that were unilaterally denied by both sides. Tensions continued to rise on all sides until finally war was declared, starting with the three nations on seperate sides of the conflict before the Gorans and Vuxati finally realized they could not stand against the Minotaurs alone, let alone while fighting each other, and thus not allying themselves but instead focusing their war efforts on the Minotaur front. Belligerents: Minotaur Dictatorship, Goran Clans, Vuxati Commune
After an extremely dangerous virus that seemed to be especially harmful to the Onikron race swept through their country, the Onikron Empire could no longer support themselves on their own and thus submitted to vassalization under the Walren Empire.
Dara Machine Uprising The Dara Machine Uprising occurred when the Dara’s very own AI decided that the Dara themselves were a net negative on the galaxy and thus had to be expunged. The war raged for many years, resulted in very high casualties on both sides and limited by the fact that the AI (calling themselves the Darfallen), need a biological Dara brain to run each of their own robotic bodies. Eventually though, the Darfallen constructed massive underground bunkers which they slowly filled with captured Dara to run more and more of their kind. When safely underground, the Darfallen used missiles to carefully and procedurally break up some of Darfall’s many moons, the large fragments of which then plummeted to the surface and wiped out nearly all biological life and cracked the planet’s very crust. This ended the war, and now the Dara race is used exclusively for running Darfallen consciousness. Length: 61 years Belligerents: Dara People’s Union, Darfallen Directive
After overthrowing their own creators, the oppressive Dara People’s Regime in an ironic twist of fate, the Darfallen Directive officially announced themselves as a galactic power. As Darfallen conciseness is run on the physical brain of a Dara, the biological beings are still kept alive and multiplying via cloning and surgical implantation. They are mainly kept in the core of their broken homeworld, unconscious in tanks of preserving liquid with myriad cables and wires connected their brain to transmitters which run the Darfallen physical bodies through remote control.
Varnian War of Secession As the Second Saurian-Walren War was beginning to come to a close and more Saurian assets were being freed up, it was deemed necessary by the Saurian government to reclaim Varn for both its geographical strategic importance, its resources, and the effect a succeeded planet has on national morale. The war was very brutal, with the Varnians doing amazingly well against far superior numbers, the inherently hostile and irradiated terrain of their home planet acting in their favor. In the end, after both sides has taken devastating losses, a compromise was struck where while the Free State of Varn would not re-assimilate into the Saurian Empire, it would be perminently allied to it as a vassal state. Length: 6 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Free State of Varn
After many political as well as physically violent altercations on Segeb Atar, the Allied Bes'Tan Concordant was formed. There was border friction with one of their neighboring countries (the Juvin Alliance) almost immediately, which was one of the reasons that the Concordant quickly made friends with both the Saurian Empire and the Atalanti Republic.
The Juvin Alliance, which historians believe is a long separated relative of the Dyr'Lathani people and the Allied Bes'Tan Concordant after a technological and societal collapse left them stranded on another planet. Now the Juvins believe that it is their divine purpose to wage a jihad against the Concordant and wipe the inferior race from the galaxy.
The Alphega Accords were written a little less than a year prior to their ratification and all nations were given until the first day of the new year to comply. The Accords served to enact a standard template for galaxy wide law including rules pertaining to war, trade, politics, etc.
While the Tellmari independent systems has long ruled their own little nations with fairly little conflict aside from that of a political nature, a new urgency and need for solidarity overtook them all when they met other galactic empires and started to realize their massive scale and far surperior territory and power. And so, after some deliberation, all of the Tellmari independent systems consolidated to form the Allied Systems of Tellmar.
The Saurian Mothership was the target of an assassination attempt on the Saurian emperor, a bomb being detonated in the ship’s center, ripping it in half. The Emperor was believed dead for some time before it was revealed that he was simply laying low to prevent more attacks.
Saurian Freedom Initiative When the Saurian terrorist group Broken Sword reared its ugly head the empire was taken back as a whole; there hadn't been any major Saurian civil war or uprising since further back than any save the Emperor could remember. Nevertheless, it had finally happened, and the government was not going to sit idly by while Broken Sword took innocent lives. This was the beginning of the Saurian Freedom Initiative, many special task forces being created to seek, root out, and destroy the tendrils of Broken Sword that had latched themselves deep within Saurian society. Length: Ongoing Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Broken Sword
After thousands of years in the medieval age, held back by endless power struggles, the Sacred Ferellian Crusade was begun when Ra’Ghül, the Toxic God emerged from the Void and united the Ferellian race with the sole purpose of spreading his word and power across the galaxy in the form of his exalted and holy toxic gasses.
Juvin Jihad Nearly as soon as the two nations made first contact, the Juvins had declared a holy war on the Dyr'Lathani. In their eyes, it was their divine purpose to exterminate the other inferior race. They refuse all attempts at negotiation, claiming they do not negotiate with infidels, and the war has gone on for hundreds of years. Though it often lulled in intensity, the Juvins would simply redouble their efforts after amassing more numbers. The long and arduous war has taken a great total on both sides, both in the massive loss of life and the hinderance it has caused to general advancement of their cultures and technology. Length: Ongoing Belligerents: Juvin Alliance, Allied Bes'Tan Concordant
After a biological terrorist attack on a Saurian embassy using Necrotia was executed by Broken Sword, the artificial virus began to quickly spread across borders, becoming a pandemic within days.
Voydo-Foxan War In the years before 1182, tensions were rising between the Foxan Court and Voyd Enclave. The Voyds, for reasons unknown, greatly wanted Foxan technology (possibly to figure out a way to enter the galactic center black hole?). The Voyds have been known to launch random raids on any other empire, the Voyd government avoiding responsibility by claiming these raids were executed by rouge elements. Due to their desire to understand Foxan tech, there was a higher number of raids and borderline terrorist attacks on Foxan trading ports. Naturally, the Foxan Court did not take kindly to these actions, not believing their claims of no involvement. Eventually, both sides had had enough, the Voyds angered by their lack of ability to understand magic and the Foxans angered by the borderline mass murder of their civilians. War was declared and the Saurian Empire was inclined to assist the Foxans by a defensive pact, but also wanted to avoid confrontation from the Walren who were allied with the Voyd Enclave. Cleverly, the Saurian Empire donated several privately contracted fleets to the Foxans, allowing them to be commanded by the Foxan navy. To avoid any chance of another Walren war, many of these ships were defensive energy shield protectors. Lucky, the Walren did not care and even went so far as to televise the battles for the entertainment of Walren civilians. Operation Voydshiled was eventually a success, and the Voyds were driven back to their black holes; though they did manage to hold a couple Foxan systems (these were taken back when the Voyds left Avendora). Length: 11 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Voyd Enclave, Foxan Court
The countries of Plupoi allied into one unitary state, forming the Barupo Federation and heading hopefully into the stars. Sadly, their neighbors turned out to not be nearly as friendly or hospitable as they themselves were.
Minotaur Subjugation War During Operation Voydshield the Saurians deployed there observed first hand the brutality and destruction caused on a daily basis to the Foxan Court by the Minotaur Dictatorship; seemingly attacking for no more reason than to destroy. This sparked debates in the Saurian government, eventually leading to a war of intervention being decided upon. This would stop the violence to the Minotaurs' neighboring countries, plus it would also give the Saurian Empire more territory and resources to annex their land. Due to the unexpected nature of this war declaration, the Mintoaurs were caught completely off guard. Even still. the Minotaurs were excellent guerilla fighters and each step into their territory, while sweeping victories over all, were harder fought than expected. Eventually the Minotaur Dictatorship capitulated when Saurian operatives stealthily planted powerful bombs and the center of many of their major planets. The Minotaur Dictatorship remains a forced Vassal to this day, and some have become excepting of it due to the added protection and wealth servitude offers, though no Minotaur enjoys not being able to rampage freely. Length: 3 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Minotaur Dictatorship, Foxan Court
For reasons that were then entirely unknown, the Voyd Enclave loaded up every ship they had under their control, took as much as they could physically hold, and departed into the Alphega Singularity, the massive black hole at the center of the galaxy. They broke off all contact when they did this, giving no word of explanation before they left. This sparked a rush for the now open and abandoned territory left by the Voyds, resulting in the Walren Empire, Saurian Empire, Reorganized Republic of Tortilia, and the Atalanti Republic expanding their boarders.
Third Saurian-Walren War When an anomaly on the Walren planet of Tarbora was detected by Saurian scanners, clearance was granted for Saurian military forces to investigate the deep underwater signature. An unexpected surge of radiation suddenly destroyed the Saurian force's night vision capabilities as well as frying their usually EMP immune sensors and communication systems. In the confusion, the Saurians fell back in the wrong direction, emerging from the water directly in front of the Walren fortress of Bladepoint. Surprised Walren recruits opened fire on the Saurians, and the Gunfight at Bladepoint ensued. After footage of the event was leaked, public outrage was used as the reason for the Walren Empire to declare war on the Saurian Empire for the third time. Length: 165 years Belligerents: Saurian Empire, Walren Empire, Kadar Cabal, Foxan Court, Minotaur Dictatorship, Voyd Enclave
On this day the Dictatorship of Targuard began to expand their borders beyond their home planet, seeking to expand their influence across the galaxy. Their expansion was quickly halted however, by the Falconite Shogunate to their right, pirates below and the edge of the galaxy above. To their left however, was the peaceful Barupo Federation…
Xanvau Extermination War In the height of the Third Saurian-Walren War a race entirely foreign to the galaxy was detected on the outskirts of Avendora. The Xanvau Horde came from all sides of the Avendora galaxy, pushing in and destroying all that they came across with only one goal in mind: to devour and absorb. At first their probing attacks were small and while at least somewhat concerning, were easily repelled. Not realizing the grave danger, the Saurians and Walren continued to slaughter each other. After a few years though, the attacks grew greater and greater, require more attention from the other Empires’ military forces. Eventually almost all attention was devoted this external threat, though it took many more years before the Saurians and Walren officially made peace and unified that galaxy to beat this new imminently fatal threat. After over 400 years of brutal warfare against the cold hearted Xanvau, the threat was finally eliminated and the galaxy saw peace for the first time in a great while. Length: 401 years Beligerants: Xanvau Horde, Walren Empire, Saurian Empire, Kadar Cabal, Foxan Court, Minotaur Dictatorship, Reorganized Republic of Tortilia, Pola Empire, Atalanti Republic, Sibrian Union, Falconite Shogunate, and more
In this year the Ki’Yari first spread from their solar system, forming the Ki’Yari Dynasty. After long, arduous war followed by a complete governmental reform, this dynasty would eventually become the Ki’Yari Republic
War For Atalan Shortly after the Walren started to become close allies with the Sibrians, it became apparent that the Sibrians could not expand their borders past what they already had due to various independent and other trade organizations occupying their surrounding space. And thus the Walren decided to help them gain a foothold closer to the other major civilizations in the galaxy, by taking over the Atalanti Republic. When they declared war the Saurians came to their aid by default due to a defensive pact they had made, ending the nearly 50 years of peace that had passed since the Xanvau Extermination War. The war quickly escalated, both sides calling many allies to their aid. Eventually the Kadar even joined in, hoping to finally take down the Walren while they were distracted, however their forces had been greatly weakened by the Xanvau and this was not successful. Length: 84 years Belligerents: Atalanti Republic, Walren Empire, Saurian Empire, Sibrian Union, Reorganized Republic of Tortilia, Minotaur Dictatorship, Foxan Court, Pola Empire, Allied Bes'Tan Concordant, Kadar Cabal
After achieving space travel, the Niamari Collective sent explorers and artisans traveling through the stars in every direction to gain as much knowledge and art as they could from their clearly far more advanced neighbors. While they did indeed greatly advance their technology and culture as a whole, they also were exposed to the most horrible atrocities of the galaxy as well. Particularly The Durge, who the Niamari subsequently devoted their civilization to eradicating from the galaxy in addition to advancing the arts.
When a great energy surge was detected by the Saurian Empire emanating from the Alphega Singularity at the center of the galaxy, some of the largest Saurian fleets rushed to respond, ready for anything. A massive Voyd Enclave fleet, numbering more than the Enclave had ever possessed in total before, emerged from the darkness then, seemingly with hostile intent. The Saurians were prepared for something like this though, and activated the experimental defense system they had installed around the black hole, essentially suspending the black hole as well as the Voyd fleet in its own pocket dimension, unable to interact with the outside world. However, the black hole’s gravity was one of the only things keeping the Avendora galaxy from falling apart, and systems began to slowly drift farther and farther from each other. The pocket dimension has to be shut down, but it bought enough for more Saurian fleets to arrive as well as the Walren’s largest fleet: Crusader. A standoff lasting several days occurred then, resulting with the now outnumbered Voyds retreating back into the Alphega Singularity where they remain to this day.
Second Joint Kadar War In the months leading up to the start of the war, the Saurian Empire began to suspect that hostile action would soon take place as Kadar Cabal forces began to amass at the border. Their fears were proven accurate when the Kadar did indeed invade, in substantially stronger force that was expected. The Walren, likely just seizing the opportunity to kill more Kadar and weaken their country even more, sent many ships and soldiers over to fight for the Saurians against the Cabal. The Kadar fared surprisingly well, new technology and previously unseen knew classes of war ships serving to boost their combat prowess well above normal. As the Kadar were beginning to push deeper into their territory and the Saurians were preparing for a powerful counterattack, the war ceased abruptly upon the arrival of the Gaia Awakening. Barupo Genocide Tensions over alleged border frictions between the Barupo and Thorans has been mounting over the course of several years, culminating in the Thoran declaration of war with the weak excuse of a clearly faked Barupo attack as the given reason. The generally quite peaceful Barupo, while the war was seen coming for several years, was very unprepared for a war of such proportions. Production of weapons and ships had to be ramped up exponentially for even a faint hope of survival, textile and other product factories being repurposed to create implements of war. Mandatory service, previously outlawed in the federation, quickly became necessary as Thoran forces brutally assaulted the border. Cries for help were answered by silence from the federation’s western neighbor, the Sibrian Union, as the Thorans began to commit more and more heinous war crimes. Within the Saurian Empire many moved to save the Barupo, but discussions have been delayed by the War of Foxan Betrayal occupying the Empire’s attention, leaving the federation to desperately strive for survival. Length: Ongoing Belligerents: Barupo Federation, Dictatorship of Targuard
Psychic shockwaves rippled through the galaxy, when the Gaia Awakening returned to their galaxy. Their arrival was somehow not heralded by any physical or energy signature at all, they were simply suddenly there where nothing was a second before. For a moment every nation in the galaxy stood still, holding their breath and waiting for these clearly immensely powerful newcomers to make a move. And move they did, straight to the capitol of the Kadar Cabal, Karrak. They swatted the massive amount of Kadar defenses surrounding the planet like flys, landing in the planet and cutting down The Great Tree of Kadar in a matter of minutes. The Kadar hive mind was killed in an instant, every single Kadar across the galaxy dropping dead in the same instant.
War of Foxan Betrayal The psychic shockwave sent through the galaxy upon the arrival of the Gaia Awakening caused many metaphysical anomalies throughout Avendora. In the Foxan Court many of their wielders experienced powerful visions, visions of a future where Saurian technology caused mass extinction and the end of the galaxy. Convinced that the Saurian Empire would directly cause the end of the galaxy in the bot-so-distant future, the Foxans attacked in hopes to save Avendora preemptively. The Saurian Empire, taken aback by this aggression from their formerly close ally, were hesitant at first to fight, but the Foxans were unrelenting and thus a full out war began. It was suspected that the Walren might have somehow combined the Foxans to attack at first, but that theory lost some credence as the Walren soon found themselves enthralled in a civil war. So the Saurian and Foxans fought, the Saurians calling on their ally and neighbor to the Foxans, the Minotaur Dictatorship. Now faced with a war on 2 fronts and after years of fighting, the Foxans were forced to end the war and withdraw once again within their borders.
