Personal history

Duer Graysong got his start with the Firehawks, his first adventuring group. Unfortunately, they were killed during an encounter with Zilla Wormwiggle, after which Duer Graysong, the sole survivor, was enslaved by the hag for five years. The details of his escape are unclear but once free he joined the war effort as an officer during the Age of Darkness . After the conclusion of the lycan wars, Duer Graysong attempted to pursue personal goals which landed him at the mercy of Acerak, a demi-lich. The lich placed Duer Graysong into a magical stasis during which he became Acerak's phylactery. To prepare for the battle with the Rumble King, Duer Graysong created a simulacrum of himself which he called Dee. Acerak's trick revealed itself when Duer Graysong woke up with the Demi-lich head of Acerak. The head was removed killing Acerak and Duer Graysong but Duer Graysong was resurrected by Babaduke "Gembo" Gemkind. After Erithien Darkmoon's fateful experience with the Deck of Many Things, old Old Jass took the deck, now the token of chaos, and became the god of Chaos. He had to give up one of his other tokens, however, and so Duer Graysong received the Crystal Ball of Magic and became the god of Magic. During the nethersan-fueled Rite of Farewells, Duer Graysong had the chance to relive the final battle with the Firehawks and this time they were victorious. Duer Graysong was able to say goodbye properly this time.
