Elementals
Creatures of Elements Given Form
The raw Elements given form. Elementals are the other Outsider species that came to be across different realms at once. It is also the only Outsider species that could come to Avestra when the Cosmic Barrier existence in specific forms. Most of the time, they are creatures with basic instincts or mindless drones to be servants. However, the powerful Elementals rise as Genies, Elementals who bare souls, not unlike the mortals of Avestra. Whether following one elemental, multiple, or none, the Genies and their Elementals are connected to the very lifeblood of magic, the Leylines.
Due to their deep connection, spellcasting is far stronger and common for them. Some amongst them are so powerful they can even grant wishes that warp reality itself like told in stories. However, that very gift often causes people to hunt and even trap them in magical objects such as lamps or rings. Even fellow Genies will do the same to each other. But ordinary people wouldn't dare do that. For while they may bare the face of mortals, their fury and emotions are as dangerous as the elements they are bound to.

Anatomy
The sapient Genie are split between seven different types:
- Dao: The Genies of earth often look to be made of exotic gems and metals. Civilization and Culture
History
The Elementals were created by the realms tied to the Elements: Faenum, Firum,, and Wavum. While they didn't prescribe to any cosmic forces, they did find themselves leaning towards natural tendencies. They became the first example of merchants, focusing on traveling and trading on different realms whether it was goods or people. They made a killing off The Blood War, selling to any who would trade with them. However, they were also targets of attacks by those who saw them as disgusting profiteers.
However, they had a luxury few others did. Their realms served as moons of Avestra, sharing a special connection with them. This connection allowed elemental energy to flow into the Jewel of Eternity and it eventually became the Leylines that would influence the flow of magic. As such, some of the first magic people learned were to summon Elementals or even craft Golems. This gave the Genies a chance to operate in Avestra, which they made use of to the best of their ability.
That didn't save them when the Elders came. While they could sell people for the Aberrations to experiment on, they found themselves being butchered as well or experimented on just the same. It's why they sought favor with the Eternals and Aeternum when they returned to the world. However, they couldn't buy their loyalty and were often the subject of intimidation by Eternals who looked down on them.
With the Elder-Eternal War at a statelmate, they are hoping to make as much money off as many sides as they can. And if the Genie can get back at who wronged them, that works great for them. They may have even found a way to create more of themselves artificactally as rumor has it that if an Elemental exists long enough, it may create a soul and when an Elemental has a soul, a Genie is born. And if enough Genie are born, maybe they fight a war of their very own.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Most sapient Elementals see the Genasi as tools if they can use them. They are spawned from mistakes usually but it is not uncommon for Elementals to truly love their spawn. As such, there are countless stories about Genies fickle and parental alike. However, if there are species Elementals despise, it is the Eternals and Elders. Powerful beings who may very well be their creators but refuse to give them the respect they believe they deserve. And a creator who does not show respect to them doesn't deserve to live at all.
