Central Highlands
The central region of Baela, known as the Central Highlands, boast rolling green hills in the north and a line of forest covered taiga mountains in a chain known as the Tchunkaka Mountains in the majority of the southern area. The weather in the Central Highlands can vary rapidly depending on your location from mild and rainy in the hills, to chilly and snow kissed along the mountain chain. Rarely do people outside of the nomadic tribes venture south of the central highlands, due to the dangerous wildlife and difficulty that the terrain presents in crossing.
