Dierd Dominion

The Dierd Dominion is a land of fascinating cultures and diverse races, located in the northeast of Caldor. With its lush forests, rolling hills, and towering mountains, it's a breathtakingly beautiful country. The centaurs roam the plains, while the Minotaurs make their homes in the mountains. The gnomes and tieflings are known for their intricate craftsmanship and unique magic.   However, the Dominion is also fiercely isolationist in nature, with its people preferring to keep to themselves. The capital of the Dominion is called Wruikeh and lies in the north. The city is a beautiful sight to behold, with magnificent structures and gardens that are impeccably maintained.   Despite their isolationist tendencies, the people of Dierd are proud and fiercely independent. They value their freedom and their natural environment above all else. They are highly skilled warriors, and their troops are some of the most fearsome in the continent. They have a strong sense of community and loyalty to their own, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to protect their homeland.   The Dominion's isolationist nature is both a strength and a weakness. While it allows them to maintain their culture and traditions, it also means that they miss out on the benefits of trade and commerce with the rest of the world. Their lack of technological advancements means that they are often overlooked by other nations, but they compensate for this with their exceptional physical abilities and unwavering determination.   In Wruikeh, the people of Dierd have built a city that is a testament to their ingenuity and resourcefulness. The city is a marvel of engineering, with intricate systems of aqueducts and waterways that keep the city supplied with fresh water. The city's marketplace is a hub of activity, with goods from all over the continent being traded here.   Despite their fierce independence, the people of Dierd are not entirely closed off to outsiders. They have a deep respect for the natural world and welcome those who share their love for it. Travelers who come to Wruikeh are often surprised by the warmth and hospitality of the people, and many leave with a newfound respect for this enigmatic and fiercely independent nation.
