Arovutos

Apostle of Totality
"Come, then... no matter the outcome, the world shall change with me."
Arovutos, also known as Death, was one of the four Apostles of Ammayn in Reckoning. He represented total change and presided over the primordial season of winter before the deification of the Divine Beasts created new seasons. He is bound to the Sea of Souls and Irev's body.

Profile

A popular subject of murals and paintings, Arovutos is frequently depicted as a man with white hair, frostbitten hands, and no eyes sitting behind an open doorway in a watery room, either holding or wearing a black rose.   Arovutos embodied the complete and devastatingly irreversible change, as well as an end of all things - not just through death, but through the dissolution of soul and being.   He cared little for his aspect or the consequences it had on mortals, wishing only to fulfill his duty to enact it. He respected his siblings and Ammayn deeply, ambivalent to the point where he does not begrudge Baon for her betrayal, as she was simply enacting a change like they were created to. He took up the goddess's mantle following the events of Reckoning and was sealed by the Six with Baon's help, though she was unable to kill him outright, instead using Irev's body as a prison for him.

Notes

Consecra consumed part of his flesh, though she died soon after.   Irev consumed his heart, which then became bound to his Emblem, rendering Arovutos unkillable through normal means.   The spellplague was created by Arovutos.
