Black Isle

One of the three islands of the Triangle of Ill Luck, in the southwest of Az Barnuá. Home to the Black Elves, it's known for its tea and breathtaking landscapes. Originally, it was named Fertile Isle due to its lush lands; nowadays, it's named after its people.

"I left the tepid waters of the lake to the black earth, which gave this island its name, and for the breeze full of greenery and flowers.(...) This remote place was so beautiful, so heavenly, so unique! Seeing the animals, free and happy, spread across the green land and the clear waters, or tearing at the sky with joy, was something that surprised me, as I never thought that there would be such a peaceful and magical place in the Triangle of Ill Luck. (...)Everywhere I looked, volcanoes were surrounded by black earth contaminated by curses, no longer as fertile as before to produce food in large quantities. The sky was constantly filled with acid rain clouds that destroyed everything they touched. Here and there, I saw scattered villages in ruins, abandoned after the despair of a civil war. The hope was in the greenhouses and villages kept under protective domes, which ensured the survival of the elves on this island."
