Burgandy Motte

The Burgandy Motte, also called "the Motte", is the main government building and fortification in Bhaile-Burmòr, the capital city of Burland, the Kingdom of the North. It is also the residence of King Haris Niallrigh and the royal family.

Description

In the late Fourth Age, the throne room of the Motte was a large room capable of holding court in the presence of the royal family. It was decorated with lush red carpets. There were paired thrones, one each for the king and the queen of the time.

History

The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow
In early 4A 995, the Zenethian Children came to the Burgandy Motte to deliver a missive from Branca. They met with Sir Ragner McRyan, who sent Gruknock, Captain of Burland , with them as they chose to seek the missing royal prince. Later in 4A 995, they returned to the Motte with the rescued prince.
