Carmile

One of the three city-states of Agaden's Reach, a fledgling nation which came to an early end during the Second Fall.

History

Carmile was once a city-state during the The Fourth Age, at odds with the cities of Gilboa and Charm. A warrior people, they more than made up for their smaller population with sheer skill. This however didnt prevent them from being subsumed when their rivals allied with each other by political marriage. After losing a strategic battle against overwhelming forces, Carmile was forced to surrender. The nation of Agaden's Reach was then born.
During the The Second Fall, after the day of Black Rain, rioting broke out throughout the city due to a lack of clean water. The rioting forced road blocks and an increased military presence around the city to help quell the unrest.
Intrestingly, it was this increased military presence that allowed the citizenry to fend off the Sundered long enough to flee to Refuge, City of Mists, when the Second Fall was at full tilt.
Ultimately the city was destroyed, its ruins a common stopping point for those southern pilgrims on their was to Refuge in the north.
