The Holy Ordeal reaches Mettenheim and Velucia, is stopped by the future Pantheon, then known as the Knights of Harmony, at the not yet Lost City of the Lightblesser.

Military actionA hidden cult of twin souled called the Consult assaults the city of Charm, later revealed to be worshippers of a diety called Domination, who wishes to save the world and then rule it. An army led by the Knights of Harmony pursues them to their secret hideout in The Outside.

ExpeditionThe Consult is defeated, however, the way into the Edge of Beyond is forced is opened by the Great Enemy, The Nemesis. He is defeated by the now demigod Knights of Harmony, but his actions trigger the Sundered, assaulting populated areas en mass. The surviving members of The Consult are turned into the first devils by their now defeated deity.

Population Migration / TravelMost nations are overrun, survivors flee to the Mandate's Refuge. The Supreme Patriarch of the Melentine Empire uses the Bowl of Earth to transmogrify large sections of civilian population into brass to preserve them until after the Second Fall.

Era beginning/endAll the surviving surface dwellers make their last stand at Refuge, City of Mists, led by The Mandate, whose twin-souled's now number in the tens of thousands. The Marches and Underway dwellers retreat into the earth, the Elves flee to their craftworlds. The Second Battle of Refuge is fought, the Sundered and The Nongod, their diety, are defeated. Only 144,000 of the original surface populations survives. The Bowl of Water is used to purify the water globally. Balthasar reverts the brassed population into flesh before perishing.

The 5th Age
FoundingThe Pantheon ascends into godhood, the survivors scatter to reform old societies or begin new ones, Refuge becomes the first city of the new world, the Elves return and the Dwarves emerge from their marches. The surviving Sundered are cut from their hive mind and flee underground. The nongod and the Nemesis are dead. Domination is bound to the outside. The old religions dissolve and reform the mandate into a religious force.
