Personal history
Now he knew better. He never stayed for more than a week, constantly on the move, but he never saw it as a burden. It was freedom. Freedom to do whatever he wanted, when he wanted. Freedom from the life of a second class citizen that would have been forced on him if he ever made anywhere his permanent home. But that was before Baltimore. Ethan had hooked up with a trio of other thin bloods: Jay, Allan, and Anna. Unlike him, they were closer to full vampires than not, and mocked him constantly for his near-human biology. Still Ethan was lonely, and he tolerated their jests for the safety and company. But it was not to last. Allan was killed in a botched feeding frenzy (Ethan was left behind), and in the aftermath Ethan discovered that Allan had hidden his tattooing kit back at the motel in the city as a prank. Leaving the two remaining vampires, Ethan travelled back into the city and was attacked by the rampaging mages, forced to seek the hospital for medical attention and catching the eye of Feargál Ó Rodagh, a Malkavian doctor who knew Ethan for what he was. Feargál, or Wolfgang, convinced Ethan to stay for long enough to talk with Ben Akkerman, a Salubri living in the city. Hopeful to meet another of his kind, Ethan agreed. Meeting Ben was not all he hoped it would be, however. Ben and Wolfgang both insisted that he put himself under one of the full-blooded Kindred's care - become their Childe. It was an insult, spitting in the face of the independence and self-sufficiency that Ethan had built his identity on. He refused, leaving shortly afterwards. Before leaving town, he met the Malkavian Caitiff Alex Quick, whom he had a brief romance with that delayed his departure from town. The two soon broke it off, however, finding that their priorities were too different. Ethan was about to leave town again when he met Robin Lutece, a shy and innocent Tremere who Ethan quickly grew fond of. Their romance is just as short as Alex's and Ethan's, but they get along far better. During this time, Ethan and Robin were kidnapped by the Setite Heirophant, Andrew Leakey. Leakey threaten and cajoled Ethan into accepting him as a Sire and forced Ethan to drink his blood. Now Ethan is stuck, unable to leave. This is why he never gets involved. The next few months were torture. Long periods of boredom, unable to leave the temple, interspersed with periods of extreme psychological torment as Andrew dragged Ethan through the Gates - the religious trials of the Setites. Ethan resisted every step of the way, but was too weak to break the grasp Andrew had over him. His second to last gate, the Gate of Ignorance, was a special one. Andrew had somehow found and captured Ethan's sire, Jonah Maebrich. Jonah turned out to be a disappointment - even more so than Ben. He had only Embraced Ethan so Ethan would kill him in his hunger frenzy, but had chickened out and left Ethan there... to survive alone. It broke Ethan's spirit, more than anything else, to know that he was nothing more than a tool for his sire's own destruction. And a tool that was cast aside at that even its creator had no use for. Jonah's Third Eye had already been torn out, most likely by Andrew, and Ethan assumed that if he did not kill Jonah, that Andrew would. And most likely torture him to death. So Ethan did the most human thing he could think of: drained Jonah himself. Diablerised him so the Kiss would ease his death. Finally a full Salubri, Ethan reached his darkest point. He didn't care what happened anymore - the only thing that gave him a light at the end of the tunnel, a hope that he could one day be human again, was snuffed out. He spent a month wallowing in his own misery, mourning his lost humanity, when Andrew finally called him for his last gate: the Gate of Blood, the reembrace as a full Setite. Descending into the Duat, Ethan was met with the god Anubis, a Garou who led him to the palace of Osiris, king of the dead. It was revealed that Ethan had been born, molded, to be a light in the dark. A healer for the broken. A friend to the downtrodden. His heart was weighed against the Feather of Ma'at, and he was found worthy - a true Setite would have been found wanting, or rejected Osiris' offer to move on in peace. But Ethan was not given the offer to move on. Osiris even said he regretted what he would have to do. Osiris drained the Salubri, and fed his own vitae to Ethan. He reembraced the Salubri as one of his own childer, the warriors of light against Sutekh's offspring, and sent him back. Andrew has no idea his childe has become his mortal enemy, and is pleased at Ethan's progress - Ethan, renewed with hope and determination, has told him nothing of his experience in the Duat.

History
Ethan thinks that Seeker is a sweet, confused, and mentally ill young woman and desperately wants to help her get better - no matter how difficult it may be. Seeker is affectionate towards Ethan because of how kind he is to her.
Nicknames & Petnames
Seeker calls Ethan 'Sweet Blooded One'.
History
Ethan and Robin are an odd pair: the Salubri and the Tremere. But Robin is a wholly innocent and sweet, and Ethan can't resist a pretty face. After Andrew's forceful induction of the pair into the Church of Set, Ethan blames himself for their position, as it was his status as a Cyclops that drew Leakey's eye towards the couple. Andrew even dug one of Robin's eyes out to convince Ethan to take him in. Ethan doesn't do long term relationships, but he feels responsible for Robin and so continues to care for her. He's not ready to call it love, however.
Nicknames & Petnames
Ethan calls Robin 'Ro' quite often. He also calls her 'his girl,' but balks at more familiar terms such as 'girlfriend.'
History
Ethan should have known better than to stick around Baltimore. But he was stupid and he enjoyed the company of Alex Quick and Robin Lutece too much and hung around too long. Andrew caught on to the fact there was a Salubri in town and took advantage, pouncing on and pressuring the thin blood into a blood bond. Ethan loathes Andrew and finds him a repulsive, duplicitous, and evil vampire. Andrew couldn't care less, instead interested in raising up the neonate into a proper Salubri and Setite.
History
Ethan is fond of the doctor, seeing him as a good egg amongst the sea of Kindred who have nothing better to do than make everyone around them suffer. Wolfgang sees Ethan as an inexperienced neonate who has a lot of potential if only he would let himself be cultivated by his wiser friends.
Nicknames & Petnames
Ethan calls Wolfgang 'Doc' almost more than he calls him Wolfgang.
History
Alex and Ethan's relationship was almost dead before it began. While Alex is as wild and free as one could dream of, Ethan is appalled at his lack of tact or morality. He likes Alex. He just can't bring himself to condone or partake in Alex's shenanigans.
