Glassforge

The first true human trade city, Glassforge has been a bustling stop along the Imperial Highway between Glemvale and Flamecrest for centuries. As the name implies, its primary industry is in the making of glass, using the fine silica sand found in the nearby riverbeds. The craftsmen of Glassforge have expanded in recent centuries to include glaziers, smiths of many varieties, potters, sculptors, and any who work with malleable materials at high temperatures.
Being a bastion of craft, Glassforge is a city which primarily venerates Anteus. The very land on which the city is built is said to be blessed by the gods, that those who work its forges might find high quality materials close at hand. The bounty of natural wealth in the area makes the earth in and around Glassforge exceptionally productive, letting the city's inhabitants provide for their own agricultural needs on less acreage than a city of its size would normally require. This has allowed Glassforge a measure of historical independence which its people value to this day.
