Deevil

Deevils are a race of demonic supernatural beings who plague the humans and humanoids of various worlds. They are known as “the tempters,” corrupting virtue and all that is good. They are often seen as dimensional nomads wandering to different worlds to cause trouble and pain, or to hunt and feed. Their home dimension of Dyval is a world covered in forest and glittering citadels with their capital being Hel.
The Deevils have an ongoing feud with Demons. The Two sides have thwarted eachother's efforts for over two millennium. They will attempt to usurp assets from each other through treachery and outright war, but also interfere with the other's plots involving the affairs of mortals. This might even result in aiding heroes (who may knowingly or unknowingly) assist in their plans.
One of their kind going by the name Drusila was seen in Floating Wizard Tower as one of zandar's guests. She offered the group a militant force to help them at their time of need, but her gift was declined for the one offered by Temporal Mages. The offer was to complete a "boon" Zandar had earned from her in the past.

The image Professor Short saw in his mind representing the demon who was attempting to snatch the orb. This was before he encountered the Baal-rog itself. What is a point of interest is the body shape and structure is more akin to that of a Deevil over a demon itself.
