Upon arriving at
Floating Wizard Tower within
Sanctuary Islands the group met two of
Zandar's guests consisting of two mages by the names Amos and Arlene. The group was given the choice of a boon and in the end they selected the "ability to set things right when all seems lost." Amos was initially reluctant to provide the boon but was prompted by Arlene to aid them. Prior to accepting the gift Hadley sensed their magic which seemed to shift forward and back. Upon providing Eric an ace of clubs with the warning the card knows when the moment is right.
The other boon offered was by the
Deevil Drusila. She was found to resonate evil. Her offer would have been a militant force to call upon at a time of need. Zandar explained due to the group's choices only one boon could be called upon as he might require the other to resolve the mess.
Upon giving the boon Amos paid Zandar. Eric commented on the exchange which Zandar responded, "he's a bit of a pessimist."
