Bloodfang's Cave

The hills to the north of Bloodsand Valley rise sharply out of the sand. One in particular looms above the surrounding desert, and a closer inspection reveals a cave entrance nestled into the hill’s base. Large stretches of overturned earth and sand mar the approach to the cave, and sinuous lines of disturbed sand stretch out away from this area, heading into the valley. The stone floor of the cave is scraped and gouged, as if by a multiple sets of massive claws. A strange tang fills the air that wafts out of the hole in the sandstone, a mixture of the smell of long-dried blood and some sort of herbal aroma.
Within the cave lairs one of the largest Sandsharks ever seen on this planet or any other, almost the size of a true Bulette. It has been charmed, through a combination of magic and herbal additions to its diet, by a golden-scaled kobold named Faskan, a shaman of the Gritscale Tribe. Now, Faskan uses the beast as a weapon of war against her tribe’s enemies.
Update: Bloodfang and Faskan’s bodyguard have been slain, and Faskan has been delivered to Raze in Tinkertown.
