The Blackthorn Amulet

Objective

North of the Rickety Inn lies a cursed and time-lost graveyard known as the Sepulcher of the Forsaken. It is said to be the final resting place of an ancient warlord who once ruled the lands now known as the Western Marches with an iron fist. Legend also states that he was the owner of a powerful magical pendant known as the Blackthorn Amulet.

Malakar the Hedge-Mage has a keen interest in obtaining the amulet, which he claims would protect him against scrying from the Ebon Lodge. Based on his research, the artifact should resemble a pair of twisting vines sculpted out of black jet surrounding a large gemstone. He will reward anyone who can get their hands on the amulet handsomely.
