During Tony's visit to LOndon he attends a gala where by Bethany is his main security and present. She is also the only person aware of James. She thwarts a Red Room operative from assinating for the NRA. Then she notices that the woman looked in the crowd for someone but saw no one. Suspicious she went after Tony Stark who had wandered intot he gardens with his current dance partner to make out. It turned out Tony had been drugged and James Rogers and Bethany thwart the assassination attempt by killing the operative
Tony hires Bethany to be head of UK security when her husband is declared MIA (and potentially dead) and start the Lycanthropes hiring process. Her second in command is Nicholas Gleason.
She pulls together the security team well, keeping the enhanced on the down low but utilizing their skills as available. Since Nick is half transformed all the time, she uses it for intimidation and has him form a close knit relationship with those in the location.
Bethany's husband turned to drugs and spiraled. Eventually, Bethany let him and her friend Ling McPHerson helped her join Tony's security company in the UK. They started a relationship for a short while but broke it off when Her ex-husband showed up asking for her help. She got him into rehab but Her and Tony were over.
She eventually fell for Andy Bhang at SI and became one of James's top security people.
