Gold dragons

Gold dragons are the most powerful of the metallic dragons, and they are genereally dedicated foes of evil. They are considered wise and fair and have the respect of most creatures - including their fellow dragons. Gold dragons put great value in privacy, so despite their affection for people their lairs are typially hidden far from civilization. Their hoards often contain trophies from important events in their lives, both successes and failures. They are also fond of pearls, gems and precious metals (like gold) - which they eat.
