Death of Agild

Summary

Before Valhalla came into being, Hrestor became jealous of her sister Agild, who was so clearly a favorite of the All-Father. When the All-Father gave of his favorite children the power to create life and forged the first of Goliath kind, Hrestor was angred by being left out. She went and found Fycos, and together they fashioned the Troll, Cyclops, and Golyclops. With these they waged war on their siblings creations, but Fycos gave in and asked the All-Father for forgiveness. Hrestor could not give up, and imbued in her trolls the power of regeneration, and combining that with cunning overwhelmed Agild and killed her. Hrestor was cast out entirely, and has served as a symbol of betrayal and murder ever since in communities that still worship the All-Father and his children.
