Hollow Coast Bridge
Purpose / Function
This bridge is a way to cross the Jindi River but more than that it is the only place along the Jindi River for the living to meet their dead loved ones who haven't moved on.
Alterations
No Human has been able to change how this bridge looks. Though somehow the bridge adapts to meet the needs of the Human race and its ever expanding and advancing technology.
History
Came into existance when the Jindi River became imbued with supernatural powers. Though no one knows exactly when this was. If asked about the bridge, most shrug and say 'It's just there, as it's always been.' If the Anyaia: Children of the First Note and Iskashita: The First Spark they say it's the will of Creation.
Interesting. It makes me wonder how this section of the river (and only this section) got imbued with supernatural powers. Can only the loved one of the dead see that person or could I go along and see them as well? I guess I'll never know, though. And I'm truly curious about the Anyaia and the Iskashita creation myths, but I'm more than willing to go looking for the information.
What does it feel like to the loved one as the anniversary approaches? What does it do to person living to have such a connection to the dead? Does being able to see the dead once a year (until they move on) help or hinder the healing process?
