Geography

The Kingdom of Bumia is a very mountainous region with very little land that is actually inhabitable. It's still a place of beauty especially with the Kiruan Waterfall. Its northern tip does hold some rainforest.   The Cubria Empire is flat and at least half of it is a humid rainforest.

Localized Phenomena

The mountains of the Kingdom of Bumia are always covered in snow. The Cubria Empire has moderate level of rainfall despite there being rainforets and very little storms (something the locals are thankful for).

Climate

Cold and dry in the mountains. Hot and humid in the rainforests. Moderate over the rest of the continent.

History

Both countries have a long history, especially the Cubria Empire with its ties to the Gloombringers and The Blue Curtain.   Neither country was without their share of conflicts.

Tourism

Before The Cinder War: A World Shattered: Fourth World War, Falcon's Nest, Kiruan Waterfall, and Lwendiasa Library were the most popular destinations to visit.   Afterwards, lovers in the Kingdom of Bumia continued to use the Kiruan Waterfall as a romantic destination. And while the Lwendiasa Library isn't visited as often as it once was, it is still visited and well-maintained.
I'm not sure I'd be able to handle the jungles of the Cubria Empire as I'm far too used to the cooler weather we get here in the Commonwealth of Edria. But any historian worth his salt would want to visit here where it's said Gloombringers started their work. And of course, there's the Lwendiasa Library. Need I say more... Sigh.
