Shadow Star Mines
Purpose / Function
These mines were once controlled by the Ta. It was a mine of immense depth that produced the best metals and gemstones. Those who worked with what was mined here also were the best jewellers, and craftsmen (of all disciplines). The Ta (especially those who worked here) held special reverence for a legend about the Shadow Star Bloom and thought they would find it in the mine. And at their peril, they did.
Alterations
At first there was was nothing blocking the way into the mines. It was only after the mines got large enough and the war between the three races got more violent that a large, intricately carved double door was put at the mines entrance. It was carved with intricate pictures, especially picutres about the Shadow Star Bloom. The Kiwta carved a riddle on it after they sealed the mine doors. Ivy now hangs down on either side and along the ledge at the top. There is a large purple stone to the right of the mine doors that was added after the races made peace with each that says 'Welcome to Shadow Star Mines' in all four languages (Našvan, Ta, Pecouian, and Kìwten).
Architecture
Miles and miles of tunnels. There are living quarters that have been cleared out as well places for them to clean, process, and work the metals and gems mined. Space was carefully cleared out around the Shadow Star Bloom but no work is done in that area no that it is cleared out. It was a meditation room and study of the plant for those who were deemed lacking.
History
These are one of the oldest mines on Nisa and are the most revered.
