Birth From Flames: Origin of the Angels of Fire

What Does This Entail?

This myth describes the origin of the bold and brave Angels of Fire, what inspired our god to create us and how we received our recognizable attributes.

Summary

In the time when the heavens shimmered with the glow of the first angels, Our Bold and Mighty God Ameuses gazed upon their identical forms and felt the stirrings of discontent within His divine heart. Like a wood carver with an empty board of wood, He sought to carve out diversity among His creations.   One fateful day, Ameuses found Himself savoring a dish of fiery delight, crafted with love by His beloved wife, the Moon Goddess Junii. The spices danced upon His tongue, igniting a flame of inspiration within Him. The dish, rich and vibrant, whispered secrets of adventure and boldness that set His imagination ablaze.   Ameuses, in His divine wisdom, envisioned a new race of angels—those who would embody the essence of fire itself.   With a heart full of purpose, He gathered the hottest peppers from Junii's kitchen, and plucked ruby jewels from her treasure box. Descending from the heavens, He summoned the angels with a voice that echoed like thunder across the sky. "Come forth," He commanded, and the celestial beings hurried to gather, their wings fluttering like leaves in a storm.   As He reached the thrumming heart of the crowd, Ameuses selected twenty angels, each one a spark of potential waiting to ignite. He instructed them to huddle together, their hearts pounding in anticipation, as they obeyed His divine command. With the grace of a master artisan, Ameuses crushed the peppers in His mighty hands. The flaming juices, like molten fire, dripped from His fingers, cascading down upon the chosen angels. In that moment, as the spicy essence kissed their skin, a miraculous transformation unfolded.   Their pure white skin bloomed into fiery reds and dazzling oranges, radiant hues reminiscent of a sunset on the horizon. Their halos, once soft and gentle, ignited into copper flames, casting a warm glow that danced upon the clouds. The edges and tips of their feathered wings were adorned with embers, flickering like stars in a midnight sky, bursting into flame with every powerful flap. The remaining angels gazed in awe, their eyes wide with wonder, as the newly transformed beings radiated an energy that could only be described as divine.   Ameuses, with pride swelling in His chest, took the rubies and infused them into the very hearts of the newly-transformed angels. As the gems settled within them, He proclaimed with thunderous joy:   "You will now be known as the 'Angels of Fire'! A brave and bold race who will value the little things and live life to the fullest."   The angels, aglow with the spirit of their creator, felt the warmth of adventure coursing through their veins. They understood that they were destined to cherish every moment, just as Ameuses cherished the love of Junii.   With a flick of His hand, Ameuses conjured an environment lush with spicy plants and vibrant peppers, where the Angels of Fire would make their home. The air crackled with the essence of their fiery nature, and every dish they created was imbued with the spice of life, a reflection of the love and inspiration that birthed them.   Thus, the Angels of Fire flourished, their laughter echoing through the realms, a reminder to all that life, like a well-spiced dish, was meant to be savored—boldly and with passion.

Author's Notes

Well, this was a bit of a doozy to write but well worth it! For this one, I wanted to give you a taste of the way the Angels of Fire write or tell stories: vibrant, flowery and full of rich metaphors. Hopefully I achieved this :D
