Zachariah Topp

Called Topp to his friend, Topp is an eccentric artificer who claims to be quiet mad. He works mostly with James Jasper Whitehall III and Lady Adalphia "Mama".
Used to live in The Carrefour before the Lab Incident (see below). Currently operates out of Whitemane in Lion's Crest working for The Silver Talons of Justice.
While currently dating Head Archivist Klara, Kanna alluded to the fact that she was glad that Topp recovered after another heart break. Kanna would not go into any personal details about it. 

Lab Incident 

While Topp was in the carrefour he had a lab. At one point, Myra theorizes through the use of the conjuration scroll, he magically shifted the location of the entire lab to somewhere else. Myra believes this is the incident that Yamil described to Raijun and in which someone Yamil cared about died. After the incident Topp was taken to The Wheelhouse a high security magical prison where he was later broken out by an adventuring party. 
Myra believes that as part of the recompense for the incident Topp's mind was altered or fractured though it is not clear if this was before, after, or during his time in the wheel house. Topp explains that as part of losing his mind he was put under "her watchful eye" ('A Fun Night' - Lion's Crest) which Myra thinks could be a reference to Lady Adalphia "Mama". 
Both James and Kanna have alluded to knowing more about both the incident and the escape from the wheelhouse but insist that it is not their story to tell. 

Inventions 

Topp had made a number of inventions and taken on several pupils in the past including a student who went on to steal some of his technology and build the train network in Glemios. Topp says he cannot remember what happened to his last apprentice but has sworn off taking new ones.

Topp often gets distracted with ideas and wants to tinker or experiment this has led to points where he will disengage with conversations to go work or has gotten him into trouble with other parties who want him to 'be serious'
