Catopia

Catopia is a planet in the mid rim. It’s population is mostly felines and is a huge feline ethnic melting pot. Catopia is the Meow Order’s capital and founding world.

History

For over 2 millennia of modern history and many more millennia of ancient history, Catopia has gone through many cultures, governments, and conflicts. 600 years ago, the Meouden Royal family took power and established the Catopian Kingdom. This dynasty tried to make colonies in the north and northwest of the outer rim, but were later lost due to competition with Nintendo Sector empires. The Meoupuma dynasty then replaced the Meoudens. In the late 1800s, Catopia was engaged in wars with other Mew Sector Nations. They lost many of these wars and could not provide for catopians so conditions were poor. The Catopians rose up and overthrew the Meoupuma king, Gatoso the III. Another Royal family, the Guehearts replaced them and promised to reform. The new dynasty made Catopia very powerful and created a vast empire in the mew sector and colonies in the northeast Mid-Rim. Many reforms for catopians were made as well. When democracy started to sweep across the galaxy after the BNP-LBF war, catopians were starting to become unhappy with their monarchy government. Unrest started happening in the 1990s due to social issues and economic hardships caused by the InterNintendo War. This was followed by Mason’s Revolution in the late 90s. The rebels were led by Mason and emerged victorious against the Catopia Royal Army and the Guehearts. Then, Mason established himself as Empurror of the Catopian Empire. Him and his military rule Catopia harshly, and have expanded the empire even more. These acts of aggression have led to the The galactic Cat war with LBF and their allies.
