Independent Kingdoms

Situated along the southern border of the Dumas Empire, the Independent Kingdoms are a conglomeration of independent city-states that once paid fealty to the Alengor Dynasty and refused to bend the knee to the Dumas Empire once the Dumas Rebellion ended.

Sadly, to this day the Independent Kingdoms still lean heavily toward anti-arcane and human-supremacist ideology that was the hallmark and eventual downfall of the Alengor Dynasty. It is also rife with pockets of Purifiers cells and remains a safe haven for their ideological beliefs.

If you are an arcane magic user or non-human, the Independent Kingdoms is not a friendly place.

Unlike the Dumas Empire and Kingdom of Arcadia, those found to possess arcane abilities in the Independent Kingdoms are not sent to The Citadel but are outright exiled (at best) but more often are hunted and killed by the Purifiers.
