Circuit Court Judge
This was a new (forced initiative by Governor Hopewell) to provide a means of supporting the sheriffs in having their prisoners prosecuted and sent to the prison or charged fines as needed.

Qualifications
Law Degree, and time served as a lawyer for at least 3 yrs. They must also pass the testing as to the responsibilities of being a judge rather than a lawyer.
Career Progression
Must have practice law, in licenced and lawful manner. They also have a record of honest dealings.
Payment & Reimbursement
They receive a nominal pay, with some compensation in the covering of travelling costs around their assigned districts.
Other Benefits
They can be nominated for a Governor position or higher judicial positon

The positon is one that was established to handle justice in small towns, that often don't have enough people or generates money to pay for the position, so a Judge is appointed to an district by the Governor, and should be a person of good repute, but this is not always the case as much of Liberty in recent times have been heavily influenced by Imperial traditions (bribery and corruption)
