Geography of Confederacy
The Confederacy space, was one that was shaped by their mission to create or bring a planet that was in what found to be habitable zone, to a be able to sustain Terran life and the animals, plants they wanted to grow and use. The find of those planet meant traveling through many systems and mapping the Wormhole Lanes.

It is mostly in another Galaxy as they accidently discovered the Wormhole Entry Lane to another galaxy, which they have kept to themselves.
Fauna & Flora
Much of the Flora and Fauna is Earth based, as that is what they used, as most of the planets they found had simular vegitation, but often were barrend.
Natural Resources
They have mines for precisious metals, Jolt in the Asteroid belts and planets that were either too small or not in the habitable zones.
