Vin Tanner sighed as he stared out over the plateau that was Four Corners, though it was mostly only a one street town that probably should have died given that it over a few years old and not grown or built up as other in the same time.
He had been in the town now for two weeks, since he chose to settle on Swifthollow. Liberty was the most undeveloped of the four major continents, but it also had Cartel links which could see him hunted for the bounty on his head. He like the lack of city, the people of the town were good people and down right stubborn in surviving which he appreciated. He stood and turned heading back inside his Barge. His mobile home, but also the main vessel he used for travelling between solar system wormholes. Now he stayed planet bound, as he knew if he put his head up at the Space Station, he was likely to wind up dead.

Personal history
He is the only son of Lancelot and Louise nee Mitchel.
His mother died when he was five, as result of a 'bio-attack' that his father and Grandfather tracked back to Confederate.
His grandfather died, from another bio-attack that only left him sick for a few days, while Tucker his grandfather took over six months to die, and by then they were on a Louradale, with the Tribes, who took him to the major city.
He was placed with the Whitelock who took in children, he suddenly had seven siblings all had lost their parents.
He was found when he was 15 by his mother's brothers, who took him back to his father. Only to have the Righteous War start, which saw them called on to fight. His father refused to send him off ship, as he was afraid of loosing him again. Only for Vin to loose him at the end of the war in a shuttle crash. Sabotaged, again it led back to the Confederacy.
Vin decided to take off on his own and went back to the Texas Region, and started Buffalo hunting due to the numbers and his own ability with the rifle. He made good money and married a teacher, Elizabeth Hopkins. He also started his own business, which he used the Hunt money to start. It was simple manufacturing of medical devices to Confederate standard, which was better than any on the current market. He would eventually branch out, but medical was one he understood the best, so started there.
