Sir Nightingale Deadovitch
Sir Nightingale Deadovitch is a human woman of the noble Deadovitch bloodline; though a pretty distant piece of the family tree. As her name suggests she is a songbird who sings loudly and impressively to further her goals. Also as suggested by her name she is pretty lax with morals and very pragmatic. Unlike the tiny songbird though, Nightingale has the physical umph to match her songs. Nightingale's songs are inspiring, impressive and leadership material. She is the leader of the Group, though it does take her a bit to warm up to that fact.
Nightingale was born with an inherited form of
Beasthropy that turned the skin of her whole body grey like stone.
Nightingale was raised and trained as part of the
Assassin knights and the training taught them how to use a long bow, ride and shoot simultaneously, and how to read and write. The training did also dull Nightingale's empathy and hone her pragmatism.
Mental characteristics
When Nightingale was one year old she was submitted to the Stronghold as a squire by her parents. This act she never learned the reason for and thus gained a bitterness towards her parents and others of the Deadovitch line. The next time she would see another Deadovitch was when
Azul the Alchemist and their father visited the stronghold on business. At the time Nightingale was nine years old and
Azul the Alchemist was just under one.
Azul the Alchemist's father did speak to Nightingale and introduce her to the baby. Nightingale was not impressed.
Nightingale became a full
Assassin knight at age seventeen and about half a year later started taking real jobs. During one of these early jobs Nightingale was in a position where she accidentally killed a human and it devastated them. Then on a job when they were twenty six years old they were ordered to kill someone, which they did. This again devastated Nightingale, who began looking for ways to get jobs that would actually help people, jobs like whatÂ
The Wanderer Knights did.
Non-binary, uses she/they pronouns. Though mostly perceived as female.
Pansexual, though doesn't have access to lgbt+ resources so doesn't use that term. They describe is as being into people in general, with gender not factoring into the discussion as a turn off.
Taught to read and write by the same person who trained them.
extremely grey morality, if it gets a job done killing is fine. Taught that worrying about things like feelings will simply distract from what matters.

Not very good at casual conversation.
Dislikes shellfish and seafood. Likes red meat and salty foods.
Also has inherited the Deadovitch curl to her hair, the only management method they know is keeping it in a buzz cut style. Showers as regularly as she can.

Not much contact with any other Deadovtich other than Azul.
Quite confident when speaking and very able to read body language and expressions. But quite poor at reading subtext.
Often quite cold and emotionless, unless they are trying something that she saw Percival doing. Tends to cross her arms.

History
Taelondrom joined the group to Nightingale's initial displeasure, but as time went on they became closer and closer until they were both in love (but would never just say that). They date in private, only the group knowing. Taelondrom started out fascinated by Nightingale and the form her heart took.

History
From two far flung branches of the same ancient bloodline, they have seen each other once when Azul was less than a year old and Nightingale was a child in the Stronghold's program. Azul was at the Stronghold then because their father was putting in a request for the Assassin Knights. Meeting as adults tensions are icy and neither like what the other has become.

They met because of work and after the job was over found that they had founded a group. Nightingale's brashness and unsubtlety in conversation make her the perfect person to get past Percival's conversation mastery when he uses it to avoid questions. Percival recognizes how strong Nightingale is and respects her mission to better herself and help people.

History
Nightingale met Khione as the Tundra Ranger then later met Galanthus. Being the two women of the Group means that they get partnered together a lot. Khione is Nightingale's right hand and lancer. Galanthus is pure emotion while Nightingale is powered by goals and logic.
