A picturesque expanse of water stretching as far as eyes can see, the Sea of Glass is a realm where the water never trembles or roars with fury, eternally calm, peaceful, and quiet. Here, fish swim happily amidst eternally calm waters, creatures live happily on the landmasses that dot the surface and the cities that float on its perfectly still waters and drift within its still depths.
Here, the creatures who call the realm home enjoy a life of order, where all happens with thought, control, and reservation...never with recklessness or wild abandon. Here dwells the creatures of the oceanic waters who are more drawn to a life of order and control than their chaotic counterparts, and civilization as it is commonly seen elsewhere within the planes is a more common sight here.
This realm is also sometimes referred to as "The Sea of Dreams" due to frequency and control with which those that dwell here dream...each creature living within this plane is said to dream each night they rest or sleep, more lucidly and vividly than they ever thought possible elsewhere. The oceans are rife with life here, and the land is dotted with luxuries and resources aplenty for those who wish to find them...the daytime is perfectly balanced with nighttime, which the creatures who live here consider a welcome bit of order in their lives.
Geography
A land dotted by a perfectly still expanse of ocean that stretches as far as the eye can see, The Sea of Glass is so named for the featureless nature of the water which makes up the Realm. No ripple, no wave, not even a small breeze or bubble can ever been seen to breach the surface or disturb the waters of this place...even the boats the inhabitants sometimes use to travel with move effortlessly through the crystal clear water, not even leaving ripples in its wake.
The ocean here is dotted by several landmasses that range in size from anywhere to small islands to fairly large landmasses, giving a good variety of places for those that live here to make their home and carry out their lives alongside the Flora and Fauna that reside here.
Fauna & Flora
Comparably to the roiling chaos of her Husband Leviathan's home plane The Infinite Squall, The Sea of Glass is the very image of a calm, peaceful ocean bound by laws and order. Here, moss and plants and flora galore grow both on the islands that dot the surface and at the depths of the Plane's ocean while all manner of creatures dwell both within and above the oceans.
As Merfolk, Humans, Sea Monsters, fish, and faithful of all races and nationalities to Sturgeon's faith and tenets live here in peace, they make up a beautifully ordered Ecosystem all its own.
Natural Resources
Due to the mass of the waters that make up the Plane as well as the islands that dot the water's surface, The Sea of Glass has an abundance of Natural Resources in the form of endless varieties of fish, flora, other sea creatures, and crops of several kinds that grow on the fertile ground on the land.
