Kingdom of Karmis
This Kingdom grew up along the River Karm and spread across the productive agricultural lands of the Karmin Plain. The Kingdom's greatest population center is the city of Karmis, but a number of significant cities and towns are sperad along the length of the River Valley. The Kingdom's ruling family was overthrown by the Majaran's after allowing a Zalarite invasion of the Faroo through its territory. Several Karmin Barons and their troops joined the ill-fated invasion which collapsed at the invasion of the Arendar Pass. Karmis then became one of the domains of the Majaran Empire with Atheneis Majara as Empress and Queen Floret Majara-Salis being declared Queen of Karmis. Some ten Karmin Barons who had joined the invasion were exiled with their lands being redistributed to Peasant freeholders, a move that one the new Empress the loyalty the common people and scared the remaining nobles into line.
