Temple of Xeros

One hundred years ago a greenish light appeared in the sky above the forested hills of northern Wallen over the frontier Barony of Ules. The next day local peasants found a large crater with a curious green liquid inside. What happened over the next few weeks is unclear, but somehow the peasants were convinced to start building the foundations of a large circular building around the crater. Curious travelers came to visit the site of this new building and many stayed on to help in its construction. At this point a group of peasants from a village near the crater declared themselves to be the priests and priestesses of the God Who Has Come to the Land, also called Xeros. Xeros was supposedly embodied in a huge statue that the God’s worshippers had begun to build inside the temple.

Purpose / Function

This temple complex is currently the headquarters of the worshipers of Xeros, a relatively new group that has established itself in the Barony of Ules.

Architecture

This is a large circular building constructed from white stone and crowned with a huge dome. The interior has high ceilings and wide corridors. Its living quarters can house hundreds of priests, guards, workers and pilgrims.
