Aarakocra

Aarakocra are a broad species of birdfolk native to the planes of air and storms. They are distinct from owlin in that they are collectively relatively young: the first aarakocran was born after the age of grace was already half underway.
Like the owlin, aarakocra have a wide variety of ethnicities with diverse appearances and size, ranging from just over two feet to more than six feet tall.
Aarakocra are often raised hearing tales of valor and battle, leading many of them to pursue paths where glory is attainable. In Zivilon, the feared Aquilon Legionnaires are almost entirely composed of elite aarakocra knights of the sky. This legion charges into battle, devastating foes with their blades or simply tossing them aside to fall to their deaths.
