The
Ordinal Conjunctions, or
Ordinal Planes, are the planes of lava, steam, ice, and dust. These were created second by the Gods of the Fore and their children during the Age of Heart, and are more refined than their predecessors. This makes them more suitable for sentient life to develop, as the harshness of their respective elements do not affect living creatures so strongly. Many environs in these planes are still relatively hostile.
The
Plane of Steam, for example, has pockets of warm and humid land that allow for the most vast agricultural operations in Corporeus: the city of Kalmassari. The rest of the plane, however, is brimming with boiling seas that erase all but the hardiest life.

The Ordinal Conjunctions are second to the
Dominus Conjunctions in their capacity for civilization, and less hazardous than the
Cardinal Planes .
