The
Dominus Conjunctions, or
Dominus Planes, are the planes of smoke, stone, storms and moss. These were created last by the Gods of the Fore and their children during the Age of Heart, and are the most refined realms created. This makes them ideal for civilization to thrive, much more so than the
Cardinal Planes or the
Ordinal Conjunctions.
Each of the Dominus Conjunctions holds at least one great civilization, as well as resources and technologies that have allowed their success. One theory for this success is that these planes are located closest to
The Crux, which is the source of all magic in
Corporeus. The area around the Crux that these planes inhabit is thusly called Dominant Space.
The
Plane of Storms, for example, has a city-state that was the center of a multi-planar empire:
Zivilon, the Storm's Eye. There, powerful new technologies have allowed for huge successes in battle, trade, transportation, and production. Some of these inventions include the airship, the steam battery, and the Zivil mortar.
