Superpositional Asthenostasis

Superpositional Asthenostasis, commonly shortened to the "Weak Pact" or the "Dial Treaty", was a binding contract that prevented residents within a Dial from leaving its boundaries. In exchange, the contract offered immortality and nigh-invulnerability to the planar inhabitants that abided by the law. This afforded an incredible age of peace and prosperity known as the Age of Heart, which led to the flourishing of life throughout the cosmos.

During the Age of Grace, Zivilon would break the Dial Treaty by invading Nornodheim in the Plane of Stone. This action would end the law's benefits for every plane in existence, removing the ancient protections that they experienced since time immemorial. While some divine pockets still benefit from the law, no major plane would ever see its boons again.
