Plane of Stone
The Plane of Stone is one of the youngest and most refined of all planes, having been created by descendants of the Gods of the Fore later in the Age of Heart. It encompasses the domains of earth, water, and fire. The Plane of Stone is a Dominus Conjunction , which are much more habitable and traveled than the Cardinal Planes or the Ordinal Conjunctions.
The entirety of the Plane of Stone is encased in a deep shell of earth. None have ever pierced its ceiling, and none have ever dug deep enough to see its core. In a strange simulacrum of another world, there is a perpetually dark, starry night at all times here. While the glimmering lights above bears the resemblance of astral bodies, the stars in the Plane of Stone are actually massive mineral deposits. They sit below a cavern ceiling so far up that the air grows thin before they even come into clear view.
The chief cultural and military power of the Plane of Stone is Nornodheim, the home of several ethnicities of earth and fire genasi. In times past, Nornodheim has come under attack by Zivilon for its resources. This included the Ussos Gate, which was stolen by Zivilon in the War of the Dials. Bitter resentment for Zivilon has permeated this plane for 1,500 long years. Despite this, Nornodheim remains neutral in the Wars of Melding -- for the time being.
