Alexi Aleph

Professor Alexi Aleph was a member of the Homyn Academy of Natural Science's college of Alchemy. He lived on the trash moon Skatho where his academic career was quickly circling the drain. He attempted to reverse his fortunes by stealing a Philosopher's Stone from the criminal organization of physicians known as the Pox Mundus. Too cowardly to use it on himself, he instead tested the elixir of life on one of his Xabron test subjects.
The Pox Mundus found and killed Alexi not long after, and took the Xabron for further study. Strangely, the Xabron gained not only a prolonged lifespan from drinking the elixir, but also developed a genius level intellect. The Xabron took Alexi's name and posed as him through correspondence to the Academy as a means of gaining funding and sharing his research. Ironically, the Professor's scheme did have its desired effect of launching his career into the stratosphere, although he only enjoys the fruits of that success as a skeleton hanging in his former test subject's laboratory.
