Stone Face

Stone Face is a hearth daemon who serves as a deckhand aboard the Nomad. He takes the form of a giant stone head with a calm expression. A spirit born from hospitality, Stone Face attracts warmth and sustenance to him simply by nature of existing. Some members of the crew have taken to visiting Stone Face in the shrine to talk about their problems and emotional baggage. While he sees such counseling as a little outside his spiritual portfolio, there is little he can do about it since he cannot move.
Originally, Stone Face was summoned by druids who occupied the channel between Jotun's North and South Sea. With many travelers passing through and calm waters abound, the treatment of guests became very important to local culture. However, an ancient Geit settler named Roven took advantage of that hospitality, looking to form a clan in the area. He slaughtered the local druid, and they repaid him by luring him into the path of the Shrikevind, which flung him into present day.
The Party encountered Roven and discovered his true nature. They angered the local druids by putting him back in power, causing them to leave the area for good. Since that left Stone Face without anyone to host, the Party adopted him into their ship's shrine.
