Sins of the Father

This is the story of Siren. Unable to control her extraordinary Covenant magic, she has been hunted by mysterious forces her entire life. She will uncover the secrets of her childhood and shoulder the burden of her legacy.
When Siren was a child, she was rescued from a covenant lab by her mother Rhiannon Ikarys. Ikarys had the ability to suppress metaforce, and used it to keep Siren's magical powers at bay to prevent her father from finding them. When her mother died, perhaps from overusing her power, Siren returned to Terminal City which they had always called home.   As Siren increasingly lost control of her power, she sought out a teacher. Dream Doctor referred her to the Parca School for the Arts, run by the Weird Sisters. During a series of trials (CD #9, CD #10 CD #11), Siren discovered that her father was Albion, Covenant Prince of the Center. She also discovered he was dead.   In the final trial (CD #11 she lost control of her powers and tore a hole through the Worldwall, releasing a horde of metaforce infused monsters into her world. The Cognitive Dissidents managed to seal the breach with the help of the Prodigies. But Pizzaz was not pleased with Siren's performance, horrified by her lack of control, and disgusted at the nepotism of her being considered for Gatekeeper.   Regardless, Siren was granted the Mirador, mystical fortress formerly owned by her father.(CD #12 Within, the Mirador took the ghost like form of Albion, and was able to answer her questions. He revealed the nature of the Gatekeeper, the The Exodus , and the Metaforce. It claimed Albion had no knowledge of a child. It also provided other resources to her, including a library she could learn from. She was the new Gatekeeper, which was a heavy burden.   Failure would be catastrophic, the end of Arilia.   Siren lost control of her power again when confronted by her old Trust associate, Sleazeball.
