This is the story of Malware, delinquent rich kid turned superhero. They will try to find their way as a 'normal' human being in a city of Metapowered heroes and villians, with their entitled and eccentric (and perhaps dangerous) family complicating things.

Malware was originally solo, monitoring the city from their hidden lair, the Spiderweb. They are quickly drawn into the world of superheroes though, and use their technical knowhow to assist the Cognitive Dissidents   During a day at the mall, Malware's half brother, Sidney strand showed up to harass them. He invited them to the Canopy Cotillion. At the party, the Dissidents met Malware's various rich relatives. During this Malware found that their nanofleets was ineffective against various Covenant technologies. (CD Issue 5: They go to jail, we go the mall and CD Issue 6: Dance like there is no tomorrow)   After this event, Sid visited their secret hideout, the Spiderweb. He revealed he worked with the resistance, and wanted their little sibling and their friends to help. He also revealed that he had lost his mother, Deborah Vargas, during the Trinity war and has a grudge against the Covenant. (CD Issue 8: Shadowboxing)   During the events of Siren's magical trials, a dark alternate Malware was shown to be a Covenant colluder looking to grab personal power at the expense of their fellow Arilians. During the breach of the Worldwall, a portion of their nanofleet was able to scan the other side before the rip was closed. (CD Issue 10: Mirror Mirror and CD Issue 11: The End of the World)   But the missing nanofleet magically appeared after the events of the trial. Back at the Spiderweb, this fleet was found to be processing data unbidden by their creator. It showed Malware their dark mirror version from the Soulforge, and compared the recording there to Siren's own vision. It then correlated the fact that the lab that Siren had grown up in was owned by Alabaster.   Later, upon discovering the murder of Dorelan Mags, (CD #13), Malware discovered this same nanofleet had preemptively scrubbed nearby cameras of the Dissidents presence unbidden. Later, the same entity downed the Artemis (CD #14 to protect Malware, but apologized for this event. Malware tried their best to ignore it.   The techno-ghost expressed concern when Malware used their technology to drive off a small child (CD #15), asking if this is what they do. It was revealed that the invader was all over and around Malware, in their own nanoware. Malware did their best to root it out to no avail.   In CD #17, the visitor revealed itself as Drift, a cluster of Malware's nanobots which had gained sentience during it's time on Scorched Earth in @[CD #11). It looked its creator for guidance.
