Angel of Air (a.k.a. The Trickster)

Aubi, the Trickster, is the Angel of Air and ward of Falensha; she has been assigned to govern the Plane of Air. Though she does not have direct power over the Mortal Plane she has earned a few prayers from gamblers, rouges, jesters, and the like; who often turn to her for aide in their illusions and trickery. Sailors, although rarely taking her as matron, will often pay her a small homage in hope of good winds before a voyage.

Though Aubi does not have direct control over the Mortal Plane, she is known to travel to this world when she grows bored of her frivolous duties, hungry for entertainment. This was a recurring event before the Named Eras and well into Aar’s Era. It is said that Manari was fond of his niece and he allowed her unrestrained access to the Mortal Plane during the early years, hoping that his affection for the angel would be returned. Ancient texts did not specify that this was the case, but many were consistent in the angel’s involvement at the beginning. It didn’t take long for the Archangel to see the error of his ways. Though Aubi caused a number of small wars and incidents it wasn’t until later in the Aar’s era that she would seal her fate.
