Duotheism
The Duotheism is the predominant religion of Craedock. Its core belief is that the The Cosmology, and thus the universe in which the denizens of Craedock live, was created by the father god Hartzonell and given life by the mother goddess Phaedra.
The two then created the Archangels to aid them in the lifecycle of mortal beings. Falensha crafts the bodies of beings from the elements before they are born. Manari brings life from Phaedra to Falensha to give the mortal birth, and then provides guidance and compassion to his followers in life. Then finally Manari guides Uzuli to mortals whose time has come to pass, and Uzuli judges their souls, and gives them passage to a resting plane.
Hartzonell and Phaedra then created the Grandangels to further aid them in the workings of the cosmos, giving each domain over one of the planes of the Cosmology. The elemental grandangels Rixa, Fenrey, Aar, and Aubi watch over the planes of earth, water, fire, and air respectively. The grandangels of the departed, Ahnei, Lalos, and Rinsha, rule over the Syntropic, Entropic, and Sepulchral planes, respectively. Lastly Vytali, angel of knowledge, directly serves Manari and holds domain over the Sidereal Plane.
The two have also created a number of lesser angels over time, and the archangels and grandangels have occasionally selected mortals to raise into angelhood as well. These angels often have smaller or more limited domains, or occasionally exist purely to serve another angel or the god or goddess.
The core beliefs and tenets of the Duotheism are ratified by a global spiritual council known as the World Synod of Craedock. The Synod meets every 13 years to renew the laws and beliefs of the world, and countries around the globe send religious emissaries to advocate their territories' beliefs.
